Summer is all for aspirations. Rooms transformed into labs for pipe dreams, and once more sentiments we choked up were inflated, like mirror balls on dance floor they echoed our whispers, off walls back and forth.
This summer, three artists Sin Wai Chi, Lai Wing Ki and Koon Tak Kwan from our Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) programme* want to break away from endless soliloquy and welcome their visitors. Capturing transient momentum of emotions and recreating memories that are long forgotten merely make one a narcissist. To share one’s discourse with others through artworks has now become their shared aspiration.

夏天是埋頭編織幻想的日子。自己的房間搖身一變成為空想的實驗室，讓各種平日壓抑的情感再次充氣，懸於半空如舞池上的玻璃球，將私密的話語一一投射到牆上。
然而今夏，三位學院藝術文學士課程*學生冼慧芝，黎穎琪及管德鈞畢業在即，他們希望擺脫單獨自語，迎接門外的客人。捕捉稍縱即逝，甚至經已遺忘的感覺，之後又如何？透過作品進行自述，甚至將之分享予其他人，才是他們當刻的共同願望。
八月九日至八月三十日，誠邀你來，響起門鈴，他們即即待應。
